Treatment

Dermalux LED

Sure, you’ve heard of LED light, but did you know that it can be used to rejuvenate the skin? Originally developed by NASA for plant growth experiments on space shuttle missions, the treatment was later found to help accelerate tissue repair, helping to treat wounds.

Introduction

Dermalux LED

Dermalux LED Phototherapy is a non-invasive treatment which uses non-thermal LED light energy to harness the skin’s ability to repair itself. Using colour wavelengths of visible light, the applicator targets various skin complaints.

Blue light reduces oil production and kills acne-causing bacteria. Red light accelerates tissue repair, shrinks pores and increases natural hydration levels. Near-infrared light is absorbed deeply, improving elasticity and smoothing fine lines. During the treatment, you simply lie back and relax, letting the Dermalux device do all of the work.

Clients report improvements in sun-damaged areas, acne, rosacea, eczema and scarring, as well as experiencing an overall skin rejuvenation. Dull, tired-looking skin could be a thing of the past. Join our growing list of happy customers at Harpenden Skin Clinic.
