Meet our founder, Janne Richardson, and the team at the Harpenden Skin Clinic
The Harpenden Skin Clinic was formed by nurse practitionerand aesthetic medicine expert, Janne Richardson, in 2011.
Janne, who’s hugely passionate about skin care, is a strong believer in the ‘less is more’ approach when it comes to aesthetic beauty treatments, something our clients have benefitted from over the years and the main reason they keep coming back.
Medical Director
Janne Richardson is an Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner who runs a highly successful and reputable clinic in Hertfordshire – Harpenden Skin Clinic. Her clinic provides a wide range of non-surgical aesthetic treatments alongside laser treatments.
Janne graduated from Aberdeen in 1998 with a first class honours degree and as a Registered General Nurse. She then focused her nursing career within the specialties of Burns and Plastics and Maxillofacial Surgery. Janne then developed her career within the pharmaceutical industry working across many sectors including sales and training.
For the past 10 years, Janne has worked solely within the field of non – surgical aesthetics and she qualified as a Nurse prescriber in 2010.
She has performed thousands of treatments and is valued by her clients for her professional, friendly, discrete and ethical manner. Janne has a ‘less is more’ approach which leads to stunning but natural-looking results. She has a real passion for skin care and is highly regarded in this area.
Clinic Director & Business Manager
Sophie is our Clinic Director & Business Developer Manager, she eats, sleeps and breathes Harpenden Skin Clinic! Sophie has always had a passion for aesthetics so with her business and sales background, her role compliments perfectly. She promotes and ensures our patients reserve a first class service and a completely bespoke and unique treatment journey. Sophie is also our liaison between Directors Janne & James, and our wonderful team of therapists and coordinators.
Body Suite Director
With over 10 years experience, Kate has been with Janne at Harpenden Skin Clinic since early 2013. She strives to give the best clinical advice, treatment and experience to her clients.
Now heading up the Body Suite within the clinic, Kate’s philosophy is to consult, and not sell. Focusing on educating her clients, each patient and their individual concerns are priority, from fat reduction to contouring and refining areas, Kate will take the time to ensure those needs are met with the latest and most advanced technologies available.
‘I love seeing the transformations but perhaps even more importantly, how it can affect a person’s confidence and have such a positive impact on their life! Healthy lifestyle is key but of course has it’s restrictions and with technology evolving as it has we have a real opportunity to help patients feel comfortable in their skin and get that body confidence back!’
CQC Manager
Manuela is our Clinic Manager, and is also an Aesthetician here at Harpenden Skin Clinic.She has over 11 years experience as a therapist. Manuela’s responsible for the day-to-day running of the clinic, and supervises the team to ensure outstanding customer service is being delivered at all times. She is extremely passionate about her work not only managing the clinic, but also helping patients to overcome their skin concerns.
Manuela’s favourite treatments are: skin tag removal, tattoo removal, milia removal, fungal nail infections & any extractions.Manuela adores working at Harpenden Skin Clinic as part of the highly experienced team, which she describes as like a family.
Aesthetician
Donna is our Laser Therapist at Harpenden Skin Clinic. She joined the team in October 2018, with over 10 years experience in the beauty industry. Her role is to ensure that patients’ treatments are administered with the greatest levels of care, and in the best possible way to achieve optimal results.
Donna’s favourite treatments are laser hair removal and skin treatments, because it is so wonderful to see the difference in patients’ confidence when you achieve the results they had hoped for.
Aesthetician
Cassie is one of our Aestheticians at Harpenden Skin Clinic, with 8 years’ experience within the Beauty industry she has spent the last 3 years dedicated to Aesthetics. Since joining the team in 2021, she has been performing skin and laser treatments throughout the clinic in which she is extremely passionate about. Striving to achieve the best results Cassie is as determined as her clients to gain the best possible outcome to rebuilding confidence.
What Cassie enjoys most about her role is that not one day is the same and she gets to perform a variety of treatments and concerns. Also, that each treatment is completely unique to the client.
Aesthetician
With over a decade of experience in the beauty industry, Rosie brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team. She has dedicated the last 4 years to the specialised field of aesthetics.
As an aesthetic practitioner, Rosie is committed to enhancing natural beauty and empowering clients to feel confident in their own skin.
Rosies favourite treatments are Sylfirm and IPL, which she considers to be transformative due to their ability to be customized for each patient. Whether it’s addressing fine lines, pigmentation, or skin texture, she utilizes these cutting-edge technologies to deliver bespoke results
Driven by a genuine desire to help clients look and feel their best. For Rosie the best part of her job is watching her patients’ confidence grow as they go through their journey.
Medical Directors Assistant
Billie loves working as part of our busy team. She is our clients first point of call when they arrive into the clinic, and Billie thrives to ensure every single patient has an impeccable journey from arrival to check out. Billie is also our social media coordinator, you will often see her in clinic with either a phone, or camera!
Clinic Coordinator
Emily is our first point of contact here at Harpenden Skin Clinic. Her main responsibilities include handling patient enquiries and coordinating diaries, as well ensuring the day to day of the clinic is running smoothly. She’s always had a love for the industry and strives to make every customers experience faultless.
Front of House
Issy is the first face you will see and speak to when contacting Harpenden Skin Clinic. She meets and greets all of our lovely patients, and coordinates our bookings. Issy is also our Social Media Coordinator, working very closely alongside Billie helping with our social accounts. She has a deep passion for the industry and loves working closely to support our team of aestheticians.
